Scilla peruviana

Scilla peruviana is the kind of flower that is a real eyecatcher with large heads of up to 100 indigo-blue, star shaped blooms from May to June. Semi evergreen foliage emerges in autumn, dying back towards late summer when the bulbs go into their dormant period. In autumn, new growth comes back to fill the gaps left by the summer plants. Also known as Portuguese Squill, they are perfect for patio containers, rockeries or front of borders. Height: 30cm (12). Spread: 10cm (4).
